Hoover claims they have a LIFETIME self-cleaning HEPA filter system in their WindTunnel 2 Extra Reach Bagless Upright vacuum. Here is the line from thier website... "Self-cleaning HEPA filter cleans itself every six seconds to maintain cleaning power. You never have to touch or replace the filter." I beg to differ. This is the 3rd cleaning I've had to do manually in less than a year. UPDATE: 3 days after I posted this video and called back in to Hoover, they replaced this unit with an alternative. The Hoover Service Center (where I needed to go to make the exchange) seemed to be familiar with this problem and sent me on my way with a brand new Dirt Devil vacuum with no muss or fuss. HOOVER HAS GOOD CUSTOMER SUPPORT in my book, given my experience.
